Amanda brings over 10 years of direct practice and program management experience to the Engage with® program, a national non-profit initiative of the Mental Health Association of Maryland. In her role as Senior Director, she oversees the implementation, oversight, operations, and growth of the program. Amanda is passionate about the Engage with philosophy, which teaches participants how to engage effectively with others through respect, empathy, and communication. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore, MD and is a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker. Her experience includes work in child welfare, employee assistance and work-life programs, community health, higher education, and hospice care. As a leader in older adult care she has presented at conferences and statewide meetings and is excited to bring her expertise to older adult care.
Patrice Woodard

Patrice brings over 10 years of project management, process improvement, and accounting experience to the Engage with® team. She has supported training and delivery across a diverse range of industries including social services, non-profit leadership and sales. Passionate about creating supportive environments that enable both team and customer success, Patrice oversees the administrative operations and coordination of Engage with® training programs.
Alysia Osoff, RN, MSN

Alysia Osoff is a licensed registered nurse with over 22 years of clinical practice and program management expertise. She has worked in trauma / forensic nursing, public health, case management, medical technical writing, and as a nursing professor. She is a graduate of Western Governors University (MS in Nursing Education). Alysia loves partnering with learners in a digital environment. She thrives at teaching with an interactive hands-on approach and is skilled at supporting participants to feel at ease. Alysia is a Certified Skills Trainer for the Engage with™ skills training programs.
Jill Kluesner, MA, CRC

Jill Kluesner has more than 15 years of experience working as a provider, advocate, educator, curriculum developer, published author and public health programming consultant. Jill excels in developing, piloting, and implementing new public health education initiatives to advance change within the local and national healthcare landscape. Recent work experience includes partnering the with National Council for Mental Wellbeing to create and pilot in-person, hybrid, and virtual training experiences for the teen, youth, adult, and community-specific Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training programs. Jill is a leader in knowledge and skills transfer for instructors involved in public health programming and serves as a mentor in the public health education field. To support instructor development, she is featured in national instructional/modeling videos and continues to be instrumental in the development process. Jill completed her undergraduate work at Iowa State University and her graduate work in Rehabilitation Counseling and Public Health at the University of Iowa.
Soumya Palreddy, PhD

Soumya is a licensed psychologist, trainer, and restorative justice practitioner. Bringing warmth and energy, she provides training and promotes transformative change in the areas of restorative justice implementation, addressing inequities, and creating cultures of care in schools and organizations. Her journey facilitating changes in communities started with planning and implementing prevention programming at a rape crisis center. Currently, Soumya is a National Trainer for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and most recently, was a medical consultant for the Social Security Administration. In addition to being a National Trainer, Soumya was instrumental in the rewrite of Adult MHFA 2.0, Youth MHFA 2.0, and the associated train-the-training programs. Prior to consulting, Soumya served as an Associate Director at University Health Services at University of Wisconsin- Madison, sitting on the leadership team for the mental health division.

Suzanne Pearlman is a national expert in curricula development and facilitation of training programs, with a specialization on adaptations aimed at promoting equity and access. She has over 20 years of experience designing and implementing innovative curricula content, particularly within Indigenous, older adult, and rural communities, education systems, government agencies, and corporate environments. As a national trainer for public health programs, she facilitates train-the-trainer and community courses for thousands each year and provides ongoing community mentorship and technical assistance to ensure responsiveness to the evolving needs of diverse populations. Prior to her consulting work, Ms. Pearlman spearheaded behavioral health system transformation efforts at state and national levels.

Rashad Adams
Student Technology Assistant for Online Learning

Rashad has over 4 years of information technology support experience. He’s worked as system analyst for multiple clients and now provides learner support to Engage with participants troubleshooting computers and web applications. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Morgan state University along with three certifications in information technology. He loves supporting participants in the digital environment and with his multifaceted skillset he’s an integral part of helping participants feel prepared during trainings.
